Crafted Through Time
Furniture for multi-layered living spaces
Since 1935, Artek has been dedicated to creating interiors that seamlessly blend functionality with artistic expression. Under Aino Aalto's creative leadership, the company embraced a philosophy that finds beauty in every detail, with even the smallest aesthetic choices carrying deep meaning. This meticulous approach fosters living spaces that evolve organically, where each addition enriches the character and depth of the environment.
The use of diverse materials and patterns creates a welcoming atmosphere, exuding both personality and significance. While the overall effect appears effortless, it is underpinned by deliberate design choices. Priority is given to natural materials, and craftsmanship is held in the highest regard. This approach results in harmonious interiors that celebrate the unique imperfections of handcrafted items—where no two elements are identical, yet the space comes together as a cohesive work of art.
A refined selection of Aalto's classic furniture is now available, designed to enhance contemporary interiors with their timeless appeal. The reintroduction of Armchair 45 adds warmth and sophistication, complemented by new round and rectangular versions of the Aalto Table in a rich walnut stain. Together, these pieces honor the legacy of thoughtful, storied design while fitting seamlessly into today's diverse and dynamic living spaces.
