Inspired by the name of its previous owner, Baldomero took over from an old garage in the picturesque Passatge de Mercader in Barcelona's Eixample district.
The restaurant, designed as an urban farmhouse, is a refuge where you can take a break from the bustle of the city and enjoy some exquisite and generous comfort food. Bathed in a characteristic pink tone, this project, designed by its current owners, integrates minimalism with countryside references, weaving a bucolic, relaxed atmosphere.
The charming, open-plan kitchen serves as a meeting place between the various rooms and levels. Spaces surrounded by greenery, where the tables, in various sizes and formats, are an invitation to sharing. A deliberate simplicity expressed through the materials and rustic elements deployed: limestone floors, austere wooden furniture and clay plant pots, among miscellaneous ceramic objects.
