The Shell Chairs designed by Charles and Ray Eames are recognized as significant furniture creations from the twentieth century. Crafted from welded steel wire, the Wire Chair presents a variation of the organically shaped seat shell, embodying transparency and technical sophistication. The Eames Wire Stools feature a four-legged base, available in two heights: medium for standard kitchen counters and high for standing-height tables. The base includes a footrest and is finished with chrome plating or black powder coating. Wire Stools can be acquired without upholstery, with a seat cushion, or with a combined seat and back cushion, commonly referred to as the "Bikini" pad due to its distinctive shape. The versions without upholstery are suitable for outdoor use.
This particular version has a medium height, a chrome frame, and is upholstered in Hopask red cognac, featuring felt glides in basic dark.
