With a frame of solid stainless steel, 240 meters of specially developed flagline that forms the seat and backrest, and a long-haired sheepskin that softens the industrial sharpness of the steel, the Flag Halyard Chair is the epitome of luxury and relaxation.
Despite Wegner's preference for wood, he demonstrates his innovative skill with the Flag Halyard Chair. He pays homage to early modernist designers such as Le Corbusier, Mies van der Rohe and Marcel Breuer. Wegner proves his mastery with stainless steel with the same elegance with which he masters wood.
