Poul Kjærholm was a leading figure in Danish Modern design. Known for his functionalist approach, he emphasized simplicity and lightness in his furniture. Kjærholm had a unique talent for blending his favored material, steel, with natural elements, creating harmonious contrasts. This mastery is elegantly showcased in the PK1 dining chair, featuring a stainless steel frame and a seat woven from natural paper cord.
