In 1959, Pierre Chapo designed this bed for writer Samuel Beckett. He called it “Godot,” in reference to "Waiting for Godot". Model L 01 later became the starting point of Chapo’s first furniture collection.

With its clean lines, movable headboard, and distinctive dovetail joints, this is a timeless design. Usable as a bed, bench or daybed, it features a perforated plywood base for mattress ventilation.

Recommended mattress: Bultex or latex, 10–13 cm thick.
