Knoll Bertoia Bench with White Acrylic Stone slats designed by Harry Bertoia

Harry Bertoia in 1952
In 1952, the Italian-American designer Harry Bertoia drew his first design for Knoll: this bench with pure lines, to be used in the garden or on your terrace, and also indoors, for example as a side table. The base is made of steel wire, an industrial material Bertoia liked experimenting with. The Knoll Bertoia Bench is most durable: the frame is constructed of welded rods in stainless steel or with Rilsan protective finish, and the slats are in white acrylic stone. Also available at Designcollectors, a version with a seat in natural teak.
