The Herman Miller Aeron is a revolutionary office chair. Whereas previously all office chairs consisted of seat and back cushions, the designers of Aeron decided to go for a completely different seat and back, namely a ventilating mesh cover. This has the advantage of comfortable seating, good weight distribution and optimal posture. It has since become an iconic office chair and is still almost unrivalled in terms of ergonomics.
