Alvar Aalto designed these elegant, functional tables in 1935 for the Viipuri library. The typical L-shaped legs are made of bent birch wood. Using this innovative technique, Alvar Aalto created a durable construction that can be easily assembled with screws. At Designcollectors, you will find several variants of this table: for your kitchen, living room or bedroom, hall, workplace,... This variant is ideal for the children's room, as the legs are lower. The standard 81B tables have a height of 74 cm, but this variant has a height of 60 cm. Ideal for children!
