During World War II, materials were scarce, and as a result, this Lounge Chair by the Danish designer Jens Risom from 1943 was originally made with parachute straps. Today, Knoll still makes the Lounge Chair according to the specifications of the designer, but now with 100% natural cotton webbing. The design by Risom links function with simplicity and the beauty of wood. This elegant design classic is easy to integrate in any interior. The frame is constructed from select maple, with clear finish. The webbing (upholstery) is 100% natural cotton.
