Anthony Dickens

Born in Dorset in 1975, Anthony Dickens founded his London-based design studio in 1998. He gained recognition in 2006 with the Origami table line, inspired by African tables, and in 2007 with the Anglepoise® Fifty desk lamp, which was shortlisted for Design of the Year. A trip to Japan in 2010 inspired his award-winning Tekiò lamp, blending Japanese craftsmanship with modern design. In 2015, he founded Studio Make Believe, collaborating with global brands on diverse projects. Dickens continues to create from his London studio today.
