Eileen Gray in 1925-1939
The famous designer Eileen Gray not only designed furniture classics in tubular steel. In her own studio, rugs were produced according to her patterns. Some of those masterpieces of abstract textile art are available as re-editions, such as the Roquebrune Rug. It commemorates the place where Eileen Gray built her first house, a white villa on the sea. 100% pure new wool, natural vegetable dye, hand-woven and processed to the highest quality with a density of 80 knots per square inch (12.5 cm²).
