Created to celebrate Artek's 90th anniversary, the limited-edition Aalto Table 90D Seireeni unites two giants of Finnish design: Alvar Aalto's iconic L-leg and Maija Isola's classic patterns.
The versatile Aalto Table 90D seamlessly combines Aalto’s revolutionary L-leg design with a round tabletop. For this special anniversary edition, the surface is adorned with Isola’s timeless Seireeni pattern, from her Arkkitehti (Finnish for "architect") series.
Made in Turku, Finland, the table is crafted from Finnish birch veneer using a unique, zero-waste intarsia technique. The alternating grain direction of the wood creates a subtle, shifting effect that makes the pattern's tone change depending on your viewing angle—a truly Artek-esque way to mark an anniversary. This collaboration with Marimekko is available only for a limited time in 2025.
