Eames House Whale
A prominent feature of the Eames Office was a wooden whale measuring over two metres in length, from the personal collection of Charles and Ray Eames. The piece was used in the first photo shoot of the Lounge Chair. Its smaller reproduction (70 cm), the Eames House Whale by Vitra, is crafted from alder wood and is hand-painted.
