Antoni de Moragas Gallisà conceived this lamp for his own professional office. A large solid wood cylinder holds aloft a luminous head with three bulbs providing a well-distributed source of light, all covered by a substantial circular shade. The white cotton ribbon of this shade is typically used for bookbinding and has a silk thread running along the edge, providing an asymmetry that generates warm light and shade effects against the light.
The leg of the Moragas Table Lamp is made of sapele wood. Dimmer included.
