Pierre Chapo designed the S 24 chair as a tribute to his friend, Dr. Hiroshi Nakajima. This model highlights the strength of half-lap corner joints, ensuring the rigidity of a chair with a sleek design. The only decorative elements are the reinforcements of the joints between the seat frame and the legs, emphasized by visible B.T.R screws, as well as those of the backrest. The leather seat is cleverly stretched using an ingenious rope weaving underneath.
