The CH20 Elbow Chair, designed by the Danish furniture designer Hans Wegner in 1956, only went into production for the first time in 2005. The design was quickly recognized as a modern design classic and that same year it was awarded the ICFF Editors' Award in New York. The typical backrest of the CH20 Elbow Chair, made from a single piece of solid wood bent with steam, provides plenty of support and allows for different seating positions. The unique rail construction of the chair under the seat provides optimum stability and a light, floating design.
