A sofa can become a room of its own within a room. This was the idea that prompted Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec to design Alcove Sofa. With its soft seat and backrest upholstery, as well as the flexible side and back panels, Alcove Sofa creates the setting for a cosy, safe and secure world, a place for relaxed withdrawal from the hustle and bustle of life. - frame/supporting structure: tubular steel polished chrome, metal frame with belt upholstery. - carcass: medium high back and side panels, including fibreglass-reinforced plastic, panels connected by zips. - Upholstery/seat: polyurethane foam and polyester wadding.
