Designer Charles & Ray Eames Year 1953
It's all in the name: Hang it all is designed to encourage children to hang their belongings on this festive rack with colourfully lacquered wooden balls. For Christmas 2011, the original rack with colourful balls will be supplemented by three new versions. While the shape and materials remain the same, the colour combinations of the new Hang it all will be a little more "adult". In collaboration with the Eames Office, versions have been designed in spruce natural/classic red, walnut/basic dark and black beech/basic dark. The Hang it all Special Edition will be available through February 2012. Vitra Design Museum Collection.
