Vitradirect becomes Designcollectors

Although the name change only becomes official from 1 January 2010, the online design store is now already available via the familiar web address and via the new address: www.designcollectors.com.

The name changes, the quality and service remain

Vitradirect.com – soon to be Designcollectors.com – has been active since the beginning of the year. Increasingly more users from across the whole of Europe are finding their way to the nicely designed, reliable online design store, which is an initiative by Vitrapoint Ghent and logistics specialist CASTELEIN in Veurne.

In the web store, most articles for the Home catalogue of design giant Vitra are in stock to be delivered within a few days; the others can be quickly ordered. All purchases, big or small, are nicely delivered at home – and even free of charge for purchases of 250 Euros or more. The professional and customer-friendly approach is also noticeable in the quality of the after-sale service.

Marriage, birthday, birth… You can compose a gift list on the site for any occasion. All your family and friends can contribute towards a unique gift.

Now certainly the hotspot for design collectors

What Designcollectors.com has in store for you is viewing, selecting and buying Vitradesign, and turning your interior into a personal collection of design classics. At the moment, the site is mostly a hotspot for connoisseurs and collectors!

Due to the permanent updating of the Vitra Home range, some articles become real collector’s items. For example, those who have been dreaming of a Red Beaver by Frank Gehry, Coupe Papier by Jean Prouvé or Bar Boy by Verner Panton will have to be fast. These and many other classics will only be available until 31 December 2009, when they will be taken out of production by Vitra. In brief, those who get them now, will soon be the proud owner of a valuable collector’s item!
